Telephone Account Manager – Full time or Part Time

 

AcumenEdge carries out Direct Marketing programmes for a variety of mainly SME clients. Within these direct marketing programmes we provide telemarketing, mailshots, emailshots, market research and fulfilment of brochure information when required. 

 

We need people who are well spoken, have a clear voice and are familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience of selling, customer service, marketing or an understanding of sales techniques are preferred but not essential. Previous work experience is essential. You need to be enthusiastic, committed and able to work on your own as well as liaise direct with our clients.

 

After the AcumenEdge training, you will be running one or two client campaigns from initial training through to implementation and reporting. You will meet the clients, at their premises, be trained by them on their products and services, design the scripting / call guide, and then implement the campaign. You will be expected to make and complete a large number of telephone calls, despatch introductory emails and manage the clients database on a regular basis. 

 

 

Working hours mainly part time and can be either from 9.00am until 1.00pm, and 2.00pm until 5.00pm Monday to Friday only. 

 

This role is a very useful stepping stone for those wishing to have a long term career in marketing as you will be exposed to many aspects of the marketing function. For the right person this role will lead onto a Client Account Manager position.
